Beach Restaurant, Dehiwala, Sri Lanka
This simple modern beach restaurant was designed to maximize the site’s spectacular view of western beach of Sri Lanka and the Colombo city skyline.
An open dining space, frameless glazing, exposed bricks, fair face concrete, steel structure, neutral colours, and material palette complement the minimal lines of the architecture and give a wonderful experience by making a link between interior and exterior spaces.
Proposed Boutique Hotel at Tangalle
The foremost experience of the site is the beautiful view of the ocean across the golden sandy beach. We focused to use the full potential of the narrow strip of land facing the ocean, the south coast of Sri Lanka.
The site went through the tsunami in 2004, the suggestion of which was reproduced by the relief difference. The requirements of the client subjected the land to maximum utilization.
